The Halloween Nightmare Hike

The Nightmare Hike consists of a challenging 42km hike (marathon distance), over varied terrain and 2400m of elevation. It is an amazing adventure taking in some of the best views that Ireland has on offer.

Starting in the land of Narnia Kilbroney forest park Rostrevor, this 26.2mile course takes you through the Western Mournes, over the catchment area and through Tollymore Forest park before finishing 12hrs later under the arch at Donard Car Park in Newcastle.

This is a level 5 hike which is our most challenging event available, please ensure that you have completed at least half of the elevation in a single hike no further than 2 months before the event date.
